The Mapping Designer of the Business Integration Server (BIS) from SEEBURGER is for many people a daily tool with which they create new mappings.
But hardly anybody knows the Message Viewer contained in the Mapping Designer. At the same time it is a helpful tool with which EDI data is shown with its field names. So you can view which values of the files are already filled with which information, and which values are still missing, or were incorrectly assigned. The Message viewer is so the ideal tool to investigate e.g. errors in an EDI file.
